Charging Flex

Choose from 2 subcategories

Charging port flex assemblies, carrying the connector plus the microphone and antenna contacts. On most models the port unclips from the logic board, so replacement needs no micro-soldering. We label original and copy grades so you can quote the job honestly.

How to choose Charging Flex

Clean the existing port with isopropyl alcohol and a stiff brush before ordering anything — compacted lint is the most common cause of a phone that will not charge, by a wide margin. If the fault survives that, the cable and the battery are the next checks. On original vs copy: a poor connector produces intermittent charging that only shows up days later, which is the fault most likely to bring a customer back.

Charging Flex frequently asked questions

My phone will not charge — is it always the port?

No. Clean the port with isopropyl alcohol and a stiff brush first, because compacted lint causes more of these faults than anything else. Then rule out the cable, the charger and the battery before ordering a part.

What is the difference between original and copy?

A copy charges and transfers data normally but connector consistency can vary over time. Original grade costs more and is the safer choice where an intermittent fault would mean a return visit.

Why did the microphone stop working too?

Because it shares this flex. A liquid-damaged port commonly arrives as a charging complaint and a "nobody can hear me" complaint at the same time — one part fixes both.
