Why choose a UV adhesive?
Because it does not set until you shine UV on it. That gives you unlimited time to position the part accurately and then an instant cure, which no timed adhesive can offer.
Do I need a UV lamp as well?
Yes. UV adhesive will not cure under normal bench lighting — that is what gives you the working time, but it means the lamp is required rather than optional.
